I picked Black Dash to be the sire of this foal not just because of good looks but he was also a 3/4 brother to Stitch. He died last year and Gunsmoke is in his last crop.
Queen Skittles is a mare that Doug has owned and bottle raised. She is by his family's stud named Big Country Wonder a grandson of Otoe Wonder. I think that this was a great cross with cow and speed.
We named him gunsmoke becuase when he was born he was a smokey color.
